I have been cooking most of my life. I learned to cook on a charcoal, gas grill & Stick Burner. But it was back in 2015 that a good friend  introduced me to a new way of cooking on a pellet smoker, he has had one for more than 10 years so I thought I would try it and  my Life changed from there.   So  the  journey  began  I  have  watched and  I  have  studied  some  of  the  best  barbecue  chef‘s  in  the  industry,  I  started  cooking  for  friends  and  family  and  decided  to  try  my  hand  in  a  competition  but  I  had  to  have  a  name  after  thinking  about  it , I  pitched  the  name  Bearded  Chops  Barbecue  Company  and  the  name  sounded  perfect  since  I  do  have  a  beard  and  I  love  cooking  pork.

I  am  a  former  Smoke  Eater  ( Firefighter for  those  who  don`t  know)   so  fire  and  smoke  was  right  up  my  alley  just  needed  to  add  food  and  it  was  the  perfect  setup  smoke ,  fire ,  food .

I  love  spending  time  with  my  wife  and  kids  and  playing  in  the  outdoors, and  I  have  a  passion  for  cooking  good  food.
